Thank you to all the chefs who generously donated their time and delectable food for our annual Taste of the Town event which supports the Fine Arts and Crafts Festival. Voting was very close as everyone enjoyed the wide variety of delicious samplings that were served. But the final tally named The Broad Table Tavern as "Taste of the Town" followed closely by Hobbs in second place. The Broad Table Tavern, the restaurant at the new Inn at Swarthmore, served grilled octopus to rave reviews. Hobbs, located in Swarthmore at the corner of Park Avenue and Myers Avenue served short rib on Chris's cheese gougeres with Green Meadow horseradish cheddar.
